Datamed optical sensors developed for all treatments requiring extracorporeal blood circulation, mainly for all therapies dealing with vital functions (Extra-Corporeal Life Support) such as ECMO, Cardiac surgery or cardiopulmonary support applications.
Strengths
Datamed sensors provide the measurement of Hematocrit, Hemoglobin and Oxygen Saturation, Partial Oxygen pressure together with the blood temperature.
The sensors work in conjunction with a dedicated custom cuvette, designed for each customer. In particular for the partial oxygen pressure a cuvette mounting a sensor spot completely developed by Datamed is required for the measurement.
